Meet the Directors

Michael Barbour BPharm (hons)

Mike started his pharmacist career working as a hospital Pharmacist in London. After a few years Mike decided to take a change of path and started working as a community pharmacist.  Mike purchased Thaxted Pharmacy in the year 2000. Mike is Superintendent Pharmacist for the following companies: Thaxted Pharmacy Ltd; Wringtons Ltd; North Tawton Pharmacy Ltd; Looe Pharmacy Ltd; J R Barbour Pharmacies Ltd. Mike also works as a Clinical Pharmacy Advisor to Herts and West Essex ICB 

Fiona Mullins BSc (hons)

Fiona manages human resources and health & safety at head office. Although Fiona is not a pharmacist she has a broad understanding of the health sector having started her career as an Occupational Therapist, then went onto become a Healthcare Management Consultant before working full time at head office mainly focusing on human resources for the following companies: Thaxted Pharmacy Ltd; Wringtons Ltd; North Tawton Pharmacy Ltd; Looe Pharmacy Ltd; J R Barbour Pharmacies Ltd.
